WINTER TEACHER TRAINING
January 10 - April 19, 2026
Become a 200hr Registered Teacher or take a 150hr Yoga Immersion
Though I have led 200-hr teacher trainings before I am thrilled to be offering my first ever training under the Born Naked Yoga brand!
If you’re interested in becoming a Vinyasa Yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance certified) or doing a deep Yoga immersion, this training has got you covered. In addition to that strong foundation in Vinyasa Yoga and Classical Yoga Philosophy, we’ll also be taking a post-modern dive into the practice by applying a lens of Western anatomy, exercise science, culture, and ethics.
What this means is that you will not only be able to teach Yoga and understand it’s message and origins, but also understand the unique role Yoga plays in your life and it’s millions of other practitioners throughout the world.
I sincerely hope you can join me for what will be an incredible opportunity for growth, community. You can take a closer look at the schedule, cost, and then apply below, but if you have any questions please send them my way! dan@bornnakedyoga.com
SCHEDULE
The group will be meeting every Thursday (January 15th to April 16th) during the training from 7-8:30pm in order to better cultivate community during the immersion. Though these sessions will take place at the studio (and in-person attendance is encouraged), students will have the option to attend on Zoom as well.
The remaining training hours will take place during eight weekend immersions listed below. Though student will have the ability to do these sessions on zoom (or watch a recording) it’ll need to be on a case to case basis for extenuating circumstances as many of the skills needed for this training have to happen in person (please just shoot me an email if you have questions dan@bornnakedyoga.com).

FAQs
Where does the training take place? All sessions will take place at the studio 907 N St NW and students will have the option to do some on zoom.
What does the schedule look like? The schedule is posted above next to the photo of me doing acro yoga.
Can I miss a weekend? If you have an existing conflict please shoot me an email at dan@bornnakedyoga.com. We will do our best to record or stream certain sessions on zoom but some require in-person attendance.
What are the class attendance assignments? About 40 hours of the training are devoted to attending yoga classes (either at our studio or another you belong to) and either writing an assessment or assisting the instructor. These hours are not a part of the 150 immersion unless students are interested in doing them on their own.
Do you offer payment plans? Yes, please just indicate you’d like one in the application and we can discuss options.
What certification do I receive? If you do the 200hr you will receive a 200hr RYT certification from Yoga Alliance which is the American body for Yoga Certification. If you complete the 150hr you will receive a diploma from the studio and have the opportunity to later complete the 200hr at a future date.
