FORT LAUDERDALE NAKED YOGA RETREAT 2025
Feb 27 - Mar 2, 2025
Yoga Retreat in Fort Lauderdale
Join Danimal and men from all over the country for a long weekend of stretching, strengthening and relaxing in Ft. Lauderdale from Thursday, February 27th to Sunday March 2nd.
Some of the weekend’s highlights will include yoga, pilates, thai-massage and partner fitness classes; nightly happy hours with men from all over the country; lounging pool side; drag brunch in Miami Beach; and Dan’s super popular Yoga For Gay Sexual Health workshop. Oh and did we mention all events are naked!
This is one of my favorite retreats to lead every year and I’m excited we will be in at The Agustin Resort this year! If you haven’t been to South Florida before, The Agustin is located just outside of Wilton Manors which is the gayborhood of Fort Lauderdale and has gay bars, clubs, bathhouses, gyms, restaurants, clothing stores, brunch spots, hairstylists, coffee shops and just about whatever else you’d like all within a few miles.
In addition to the resort we have booked a satellite house for those who prefer a more relaxed environment during the mornings and evening (this is where Dan will be staying). Retreat attendees are welcome and have access to both spaces, but most of the weekend’s events will happen at The Agustin Guesthouse (.4 mi walk away from the satellite house). For that reason there is a small discount when booking the satellite house.
If you’ve got questions make sure to check out the FAQs at the bottom of this page.
2. Flight prices will probably be best in late December and early January but they’re pretty good right now as well.
3. You will receive an automated confirmation email directly after you book and then will receive an email from me on January 27th with logistics. Please try to have your travel booked before January 20th in anticipation of that email.
FAQS
What’s the schedule look like for the weekend? Here is a tentative schedule that can/will change based on the weather
When should I arrive/depart? You can check in anytime after 5pm on Thursday February 27th and our first event will be a welcome dinner at 7:30pm. Check out is Sunday March 2nd at 11am and our final event will be a farewell breakfast at 9:30am.
Can I stay somewhere else? Yes, however we have a limited number of spots and they will go fast.
What if I can’t stay the whole time? You are welcome to still join us even if you can’t stay the whole time, however no discount is offered for an abbreviated stay.
What’s the difference between the two houses? Most of our weekend’s activities will take place at The Agustin, but we will do some meals at our satellite house as well. Guests are welcome in both spaces during the day so your choice of accomodations should be more about where you want to spend the night. If you prefer to be at the hub of the action and don’t mind a little noise then The Agustin is for you, if you like a more chill space to retreat to the Satellite House is for you.
How far are the houses from one another?
The satellite house is an easy .4 mile walk through a safe neighborhood to the resort.
What is the group like? Dan’s students range in age and are extremely diverse. This is a kind and accepting group no matter your age, race, cultural background, physical fitness or penis size. Anyone creating an unsafe space or culture of exclusion is kindly asked to leave.
What if I don't know anyone going?
Lots of guys come on their own and make amazing friends on the trip. Friends who come together often find it's an amazing time to bond with one another.
How do we get out there?
The easiest way is to fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and take a Lyft/Uber/Via/Taxi to the resort, once you’re there you really won’t need to drive. You might also consider flying into Miami International Airport (MIA) or Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) if you can find a more affordable flight, however the taxi ride to the villa will be considerably higher and renting a car might be the better option at that point.
Can I drink alcohol?
Yes, although we are in a family friendly neighborhood and quiet hours start at 10pm. If you want to drink and be social there are plenty of bars and clubs in Wilton Manors.
What’s the deal with food and drink? Continental breakfast is provided in the morning. Dinners will be catered and served at the resort. All lunches and beverages (other than water, coffee and tea) are the responsibility of the student.
How much yoga are we doing? I'm worried I'll get worn out.
We have classes every morning and evening, but they're not always full fitness practices. Some are restorative, partner and thai massage classes. Also if you need sleep or down time you're welcome to opt out.
Is it worth the money?
YES! Everyone who has come on my retreats has had the time of their life. You'll come back having not only had a fun weekend, but also feeling refreshed and energized.
What happens if I end up not being able to go? Half of your purchase goes to a non-refundable deposit. Because I need firm numbers leading up to the retreat your payment becomes non-refundable a month before the retreat (January 27th).
