COSTA RICA NAKED YOGA AND ADVENTURE RETREAT

March 27 - April 3, 2027

Blue Osa Resort in Puerto Jiminez, Costa Rica

Join Dan and men from all over the world for eight days and seven nights of yoga, massage and adventure at the iconic Blue Osa Resort in Puerto Jiminez, Costa Rica.

Some of the week’s highlights will include yoga, pilates, thai-massage and partner fitness classes; a chemical free pool and cocktail bar (as well as juice and smoothies); access to a secluded jungle beach; farm to table meals; $50 towards on site spa treatments; Oh and did we mention all on-site events are naked!

This is our first international retreat in five years and I am thrilled to be offering it in partnership with Blue Osa, founded by internationally-renowned, naked yoga teacher Aaron Star. It can’t be overstated how much Aaron has done in both the naked yoga, wellness, and retreat worlds and Blue Osa is a reflection of his expertise and vision.

In addition to its world class facilities, Blue Osa also grants us the opportunity to experience a wide variety of eco-adventures that showcase the natural beauty and biodiversity of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula. Some optional group excursions we will go on include guided rainforest hikes near Corcovado National Park, birdwatching tours, waterfall hikes, and wildlife experiences where we may spot monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, and sloths in their natural habitat.

For those in the group seeking more adventure, Blue Osa also offers activities like zipline canopy tours, surfing lessons, mangrove kayaking, local chocolate farm tours, and dolphin-spotting boat excursions in the Golfo Dulce. In advance of the retreat I will coordinate with participants on what excursions interest them so we can do a handful as a group, but will also be able to offer private experiences for the more adventurous.

And for those who just want to relax, that’s no problem. You can lie naked by the pool all weekend if that’s your thing. 😉

All booking prices are per person as opposed to per room. If you are bringing a friend, lover, partner, or all of the above be sure to indicate that in the form that populates after booking AND please be sure they make their own booking (or you can make a second booking for them). The prices at the booking link below include your accommodations, three farm to table meals a day (one on arrival and departure days), all classes and workshops held on site, airport shuttle, towel service, wifi access, our group hiking excursion, and $50 towards a spa treatment. They do not include airfare (though Blue Osa has a travel agency and would be happy to assist you in the process), the bar (juice, alcohol, and smoothies), staff tips, and optional added excursions or spa treatments. Not all rooms are air-conditioned so please make sure to consider this when checking out. That being said, late March weather is generally ideal for warm days of activities and cool nights of breezy sleep. Highs are generally 75-85° F and lows are usually 65-70° F.

If you’ve got more questions make sure to check out the FAQs at the bottom of this page.

FAQS

What’s the schedule look like for the weekend? This will be our first 8 day retreat so I am currently working on a schedule. Here is a schedule from a weekend long retreat so you can get a sense of the cadence of a normal day.

When should I arrive/depart? You can check in anytime after 2pm on Saturday March 27th and our first event will be a welcome drinks at 5pm. Our final event will be Yoga Friday April 2nd at 4pm. Check out is Saturday April 3rd at 10am. The resort is not able to accommodate early check in or late check out but if you’d like to book additional days please let me know and I’ll help you coordinate with them.

Can I stay somewhere else? No, all participants must stay on the resort.

What if I can’t stay the whole time? You are welcome to still join us even if you can’t stay the whole time, however no discount is offered for an abbreviated stay.

What is the group like? Dan’s students range in age and are extremely diverse. This is a kind and accepting group no matter your age, race, cultural background, physical fitness or anatomy size. Anyone creating an unsafe space or culture of exclusion is kindly asked to leave.

What if I don't know anyone going?
Lots of guys come on their own and make amazing friends on the trip. Friends who come together often find it's an amazing time to bond with one another. If you in a shared room Dan will reach out and try to find the best possible roommates for you.

How do we get out there?
To get to Blue Osa, you will need to take a short 45-minute domestic flight from the San Jose International Airport to the Puerto Jimenez Airport. Once you arrive in Puerto Jimenez, our shuttle will pick you up and drive you to our resort. Blue Osa Travels will be happy to help you plan your trip so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy! (Contact Blue Osa Travels here – BlueOsaTravels@gmail.com)

Can I drink alcohol?
Yes, there is an on-site bar although alcoholic drinks, smoothies, and fresh juices are not included in the price.

What’s the deal with food and drink? The resort serves three farm to table meals a day, as well as coffee and tea first thing in the morning. The food is mostly vegetarian, but eggs are served with every breakfast and most dinners will also include a fish or chicken option. No red meat or pork will be served. We can easily accommodate vegan and gluten free diets. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction outside what is listed please reach out to me so I can confirm that the resort can accommodate you.

How much yoga are we doing? I'm worried I'll get worn out.
We have classes every morning and evening, but they're not always full fitness practices. Some are restorative, partner and thai massage classes. Also if you need sleep or down time you're welcome to opt out.

Is it worth the money?
YES! Everyone who has come on my retreats has had the time of their life. You'll come back having not only had a fun weekend, but also feeling refreshed and energized.

What happens if I end up not being able to go? $799 of your purchase goes to a non-refundable deposit. Because I need firm numbers leading up to the retreat your payment becomes non-refundable two months before the retreat (January 27th).
